Prep the glasses: Add crushed candy canes to a small plate.
Lightly dip the rims of your shot glasses in simple syrup or a swipe of honey, then dip into the crushed candy to coat. Set aside.
Fill the shaker: Add ice to a cocktail shaker until it’s half full.
Measure the spirits: Pour in 1 ounce vanilla vodka, 1 ounce peppermint schnapps, and 1 ounce white chocolate liqueur per two shots. Add 1–2 ounces half-and-half, depending on how creamy you want it.
Shake well: Seal and shake for 10–15 seconds until the shaker feels frosty.
This chills and slightly aerates the mix for a silky texture.
Strain and pour: Strain into the prepared shot glasses. Aim for a smooth, even pour that doesn’t disturb the candy rim.
Garnish: Top with a small swirl of whipped cream, a pinch of crushed candy cane, and a sprinkle of red sugar if desired.
Serve immediately: These taste best cold and freshly poured.
